History 1987 - Mecfor began its activities in the Forest Industries in the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region. 1991 - Integration of Mecfor into Cegertec Experts-Conseils inc., consulting firm and division of Groupe Cegerco inc. , as an industrial mechanics department. 1997 - Business reorientation - focus on the Aluminium Primary Production Industry. 2000 - Beginning of the exporting of Mecfor's products and services outside of the Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean region. 2003 - International market penetration. 2003 - Acquisition of Vallée - Metal Division, mobile equipment supplier. 2007 - Opening of a new sales and technical support office near Montreal (Quebec, Canada). Business development - Mecfor enters new industrial sectors.
